TGIF?

I can't believe it's Friday!

We've kept ourselves busy this week with different stuff. I won't bore you with the details, and I only feel like writing about knitting anyway, so there.

I'm in the middle of another pair of recycled lambswool longies right now, but since I don't have a US #8 12" Addi Turbo Circular Needle, I don't feel like finishing them yet. Technically, I could do them on the DPN's, but I just don't feel like fiddling around for 60+ rounds.

The new Knitty came out today and I want to knit this. Is that not the most adorable thing you have ever seen? I love Anna's site, so you all should go check it out to see all of the adorable things she makes. Of course, I have enough on my needles that I really shouldn't start something like that. In all fairness, though, I've only been knitting random toys and crocheting food for Corey. I haven't done any "serious" knitting except for stopping work on the longies.

In non-knitting news, we finally got tired of waiting for Charter to offer phone service in our area. If you aren't familiar with the back story here's a summary in point form:

*March: Charter promises phone service by the end of the month
*April: We cancel contract with Viatalk in order to sign up with Charter
*May: Still no phone service; Charter tells us "soon"
*June: see May
*July: see June
*August: see July

We called Bellsouth, a.k.a. "The New AT&T." Our home phone number is different now, but at least I can talk on the phone in my own house without risking dropped calls and ridiculously bad connections.

Mkay, so now I need to go figure out something to knit. I started a little purse with some of my ginormous acrylic stash, but I'm bored with it already and need something new to knit. I did finish a little toy I named "Wierdy." I'll take pictures soon.

Off to scavenge the nets for knitting ideas...

Wish me luck!
