What are we doing for St. Patrick's day? Well, since we are well-stocked in fingerpaints, the boys are painting some pictures for the leprechauns. Corey wrote a letter and we're going to take it out to the woods this evening.

Without ink in the printer, I can't take advantage of all the great St. Patrick's Day printables on the internet, but Corey is cutting out some shamrocks from his own imagination and we're going to decorate the house with them.

Jamie got some "Irish food" that we'll eat for dinner tonight. Corned beef!

So, since spring is in the air, we've had our ears tuned in to the sounds of birds in the woods. There is one bird, though , that I cannot for the life of me figure out! I have spent hours on the web trying to identify its call, with no luck. A pure, clear whistle is all I hear, yet even by that description, I can't find anything to help me.

Any birders out there? I think I've exhausted my resources so if anyone knows of an awesome website with bird calls, let me know!




Well, I've really got to get to getting. The house is still a mess from me not being home a whole lot this weekend. At least I washed diapers this morning though!
