Small Talk Six: I am my mother

Today’s topic is “6 ways you are like or unlike your mother.” You can answer this with a list of 6 words, 6 phrases, 6 sentences, 6 paragraphs, 6 photos, 6 videos, etc . . .

1.  We are both very crafty!  My mom taught me how to sew when I was a kid.  She had her own little craft business and would sell her handmade goods at bazaars and craft fairs.  Though I don't go to craft fairs to peddle my wares, I do sell them online!

2.  Plants are our thing.  I'm pretty sure I'm the only kid in our family who inherited my mom's green thumb.  We both have a knack for getting overwhelmed with reproducing African violets and spider plants.  I actually was glad to have accidentally killed one of my violets a couple weeks ago cause I was running out of space for new plants...

3.  My mom and I could spend an entire day shopping at antique stores and thrift shops.  We usually make a marathon out of it every year for my birthday.  This past year, I scored some pretty dishes.

I'll let these last three pictures speak for themselves:
